The Decus claims department is an established group of experienced “hands on" professionals that is well versed in territory and industry disciplines, particularly major loss making events such as hurricanes, fire, flood, earthquakes and other natural catastrophes.We have developed strong and long standing relationships with insurers and their service providers, which enables an immediate and efficient response to all claims situations.
All claims are logged and recorded using the latest systems and managed by our ‘triage’ team that guarantees that we prioritise claims effectively. This enables Decus to communicate accordingly between our clients and insurers. Working closely with Adjusters, TPA’s and other claims experts, we make sure that reserves are registered early with insurers and that serious and complicated losses are handled in a controlled way.
In response to Catastrophic events, we are equipped to support multiple policyholders in any concentrated areas that suffer a high volume of claims for property damage, business interruption and exposure to any other perils. We work with insurers, clients and adjusters to understand their catastrophe plans and ensure that we are well prepared to deal with the unique conditions brought about by these events.
